  1. Protocol Governance

Governance Core

The iAgent council core serves as the principal governing body, establishing the initial framework for the protocol's infrastructure and guiding its early development. This foundational phase is critical for setting up the necessary guidelines, creating strategic partnerships, and constructing the infrastructure essential for the iAgent protocol to function and expand successfully.

Council Core The iAgent team (Council core) serves as the initial governing body, laying the groundwork for the protocol's infrastructure and guiding its early steps. Its responsibilities include establishing operational guidelines, forging key partnerships, and building the foundational infrastructure required for protocol growth and functionality. Through iAgent Improvement Proposals (IIPs), members can propose and vote on changes, ensuring continuous evolution and improvement driven by the community.

iAgent Improvement Proposals (IIPs) As the protocol matures, the mechanism for continuous evolution and improvement revolves around iAgent Improvement Proposals (IIPs). Through IIPs, iAgent community members can propose changes or enhancements to the protocol. This system allows $AGNT token holders to submit proposals for modifications or improvements. Subsequently, these proposals are subject to a structured review process. This ensures that any adjustments to the protocol are carefully considered and aligned with the community's interests and the protocol’s long-term vision.

This governance structure ensures that while the Council core provides the initial direction and infrastructure, the future development of the protocol is driven by its community. This is done through a structured proposal system. This approach maintains the ethos of decentralization by allowing token holders to have a significant say in the protocol’s evolution, even as the direct governance model transitions from foundational oversight to a more community-driven framework.
